In 2023, my fellow graduate students and I revitalized the History Graduate Student Association (HGSA). We also wanted to revitalize the former graduate publication, The North Alabama Historical Review; however, we wanted the publication to take on a different shape. That is how The Willingham magazine was born. From 2023 to 2024, I served as Vice President of HGSA and co-editor of The Willingham. In 2024, I took on the roles of President and editor. In these positions, I facilitated the publication of the second edition.
